The high-speed serial communication system local board (motor driver) is equipped with a serial communication function, a single-axis pulse control LSI: G9003 (PCL device), and a stepping motor driver IC of the constant current drive type. (Driver with serial communication and controller function) Since it is equipped with a pulse control LSI, there is no need for an external pulse control unit. Additionally, control signals from the outside are transmitted and received bidirectionally via two wires (serial communication RS-485). Therefore, a control system (center board) equipped with the serial communication LSI: G9001A from Japan Pulse Motor Co., Ltd. is required on the transmitting side. The high-speed serial communication system local board (motion) is a one-axis servo motor and stepping motor control board (pulse output) equipped with a serial communication function and a one-axis pulse control LSI: G9003 (PCL device). There are general-purpose and dedicated types available, with the general-purpose type also offering a 4-axis control board equipped with PCL6045B. The dedicated type directly plugs into the external input/output connector of the corresponding AC servo driver, allowing for further streamlined wiring.
